Get the intel with Mikeys Top 5 AuDHD Products!
Mikey's an incredible little person and the motivation behind The AuDHD Store.
You see, Mikey is a lot of things - a great snuggler, exceptional Lego creator, unbelievable Minecraft builder, artist, mathematician (compared to me), soccer fanatic, and an all-around great human.
He's also an AuDHD, PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidant) and Arfid (Avoidant and Restrictive Food Intake Disorder) kid.
So, when he chooses something, you better believe it's pretty special!
He also collects random boxes... so, there's that....
Anyway, I sat down with mikey, and he chose his Top 5 picks from The AuDHD Store.
Here they are...
1. Smooshos Pals Pug Plush - aka "Puggles"
Puggles is Mikeys new go-to plush. I honestly didn't expect this because it's not Minecraft- or Brainrot-themed. But, I tell you what, the unique squishiness of Smooshos Pals is incredibly satisfying! If you haven't already squeezed these cute characters, you're missing out!
2. Gravity Flip Karambit Fidget Tool | Click & Trick Hand Fidget
Mikey can lose himself for hours mastering new Gravity Flip Karambit tricks. Skill-based fidgets have a hidden superpower: while you're focused on landing the perfect flip, your brain and body often get the regulation they need, too.
3. Magnetic Spin, Click & Glide Fidget Slider
Mikey loves fidgets that give his hands plenty to do, and this one ticks all the boxes. He can spin it, click it, glide it, and flip it between his fingers, depending on what feels right in the moment.
It's one of the fidgets he regularly reaches for throughout the day, especially when he needs help settling his busy brain. The different movements keep it interesting, which means it gets used again and again rather than ending up forgotten in a drawer.
If you've ever met Mikey, you've probably seen him in his red body sock. ❤️
When the world feels too loud, too busy, or just a bit overwhelming, the body sock gives him a space to retreat, move, stretch, and regulate. Sometimes he'll curl up quietly inside it. Other times he'll bounce, roll, and crash around the room.
What I love most is how it helps him reconnect with his body. On hard days, it can be the difference between a child who feels completely overwhelmed and one who is able to find their calm again.
It's easily one of the most-used sensory tools in our house, and definitely deserves a place in Mikey's top 5.

And lucky last...
5. Strike Energy Pendant - The AuDHD Store
This one has been a game-changer for Mikey. Like many autistic kids, he seeks oral sensory input and will often chew on whatever happens to be nearby.
Having a chew pendant gives him a safe, appropriate way to meet that need. He wears his regularly when we're out and about, and it helps him stay regulated without drawing attention to himself.
The bright red colour was an easy choice for Mikey, and it's become one of those supports that quietly does its job every day. Sometimes the most helpful tools are the ones you barely notice until you realise how often they're being used.
Now, I know this is a relatively short list. He doe's love A LOT of things in The AuDHD Store. But, we both agreed we'd save the other items for future blog posts.
Sending much love,
Mikey and Kim.
